and straight-forward ways of letting children know that they are a priority;
that they have a choice in how their life turns out; that they are loved,
and that there is nothing wrong with asking for help.

personal experience as a father, a successful entrepreneur, a person
who lived 20 years of his life in a ghetto, and a Vietnam-era veteran,
