As the holidays roll around, I always find that there is this jumble of excitement and dread in the people I talk to. This year seems a bit heavy on the side of dread, and lost beneath the dread is the inner child of many just begging to come out and play. For some finances are getting them down. For others the pressures at work or within the family have them dreading the end of the year, and for others it is their own uncertainty about what they want in their lives that have them feeling unsettled.

The holiday season can be the most stress-filled time of year, but it doesn’t have to be!
How do you stop the pressures of work, finances, family, and the feeling of “I have to get this right” from pushing you to the brink of crankiness? Get present to what matters most!
When it comes right down to it, what do you think those you love most want from you this season? Do they want fun time spent with you or the perfect tree? Think about it. In our quest to do everything right, we push away or assume those we most want to get it right for!
So, as you make your way toward the end of the year, don’t forget to take time for what really matters… you and those you love!
Just a thought.
